It’s really strange

Surfing the interwebs and coming across photos of friends and friends of friends who are gathering in reunion-like settings, some in front of my old high school and other nostalgic places. Sometimes I feel a little bit sad to miss out on such opportunities, but then when I really think about it, as much as I miss my friends, I am happy to not be in those pictures. I would actually have to seek out being in such circumstances, which feels pretty good. I have literally moved on with my life, to a place halfway around the world, and I couldn’t be happier. I will never end up stuck in that town, and thank God for that.
